When John Barron retired in October 2014 the Stenhousmuir practice became the newest addition to the McFarlane Opticians family. The practice has been completely refurbished. The Stenhousemuir practice also now offers contact lenses.
Iain McCall is resident optometrist in the Stenhousemuir practice.
Douglas Richmond provides professionally qualified dispensing services.
Stenhousemuir Reception Staff
Lynn has worked in the Stenhousemuir practice since 2015. Eilidh joined us in 2021. Lynn and Eilidh work a job share arrangement.
Eye exams are available all day on Tuesdays and every other Friday morning.
Directions and Parking
The Stenhousemuir practice is located in the town centre, not far from Asda. Free Parking is available at the health centre just 2 minutes walk away.

- Monday Open 9:00am-1:00pm, and 2:00pm – 5:00pm
- Tuesday Open 9:00am-1:00pm, and 2:00pm – 6:30pm (optometrist here)
- Wednesday Open 9:00am-1:00pm, and 2:00pm – 5:00pm
- Thursday Open 9:00am-1:00pm, and 2:00pm – 5:00pm
- Friday Open 9:00am-1:00pm, and 2:00pm – 5:00pm (optometrist here in morning every other week)
- Saturday Closed
