When you visit R.D McFarlane and Nicol’s opticians you can expect to find a practice full of modern equipment matched with the traditional values of service and professionalism. Your eye examination will last at least 30 minutes; this time is spent entirely with your optometrist giving you plenty of opportunity to discuss your results with them. Eye examinations in Scotland are free to everyone on the NHS.
We have a large range of frames to suit all ages from budget to designer, including Ray-Ban, Emporio Armani, CAT and Radley which means you can be sure to find a style that suits you.
Being independent, we also have access to a wide range of contact lenses, from Monthlies to Dailies and Multifocals to lenses for astigmatism. If you are patient who already gets their lenses from us and need to order more you can use this handy form to let us know.
